Each checklist gives guidelines for the four reading questions to help students process what they have to do in the exam. This is an author study booklet with two separate studies - the first one is a generic study in which students can choose their own author, while the second study focusing on a comparison between Jane Austen and Charles Dickens in which the students work in a pair to decide who is the ‘best’ author. There are eleven activities in total, five in the first study and six in the second.
